Drahgi
The kingdom of Drahgi is a hereditary monarchy located in the centre of Seafarow. It's cities are some of the oldest settlements on the island. While the native inhabitants of this part of the island were human, Draghi has since expanded into a massively multicultural hub bustling with travelers, whether they be merchants or adventurers.
Geography
The land that constitues Drahgi is known for its resemblance to a dragon's head. Large areas of the country's topography are flat, becoming more hilly the further east one travels. The easternmost part of the country includes the foothills of the Kerromagne mountains.
The biomes of Draghi are pretty uniformly tropical forests, with small sections of taiga in the mountainous regions of the country. Drahgi's coastal areas enjoy a Mediterranean climate. The temperature generally stays between 20c-30c year-round, with humid winters and dry summers.
While the vast majority of the country is coastline, Drahgi is also home to 3 major rivers and 1 major lake, which are as follows:
- Dragon's Eye Lake
- Dragon's Tear River
- Mountain's Gate River
- River Synio
History
Drahgi was settled by Saargrivian explorers
The sovereign and united state of Drahgi is roughly 350 years old. It is formed of the union of several smaller states, the larger of which became the country's three provinces.
Elaborate on the major historical events here. (origins of the pre-unification states and their conflicts, the unification (important), the arrival of dostrian colonisers, relations with Qaz-Nuzan)
Territories
Drahgi is divided into 3 provinces, named Thalina, Melibes and Reja. Each province has a baron as head of state, and beneath them are the ruling families of each city.
Thalina
Drahgi's northern province. It's capital city is named Dragon's Eye, found on the southern coast of the lake of the same name. This province hosts the country's largest import port and serves as liason between Drahgi and Barcevarre. Given it's proximity to Barcevarre and it's port, Thalina hosts the largest population of Barcevarrian nationals and their embassy. Dragon's Eye is home to the country's largest artificer's laboratory and is generally considered the research capital of Drahgi. This province is named after the ruling family of the state pre-unification.
Melibes
Drahgi's central province. It is host to the nation's capital, named Dragon's Maw. This province the heart and soul of Drahgi's political and trade scenes, and to a lesser extent, that of Sefarow's as a whole. Access to the Mountain's Gate River ensures that Melibes remains a trade powerhouse, as goods moving east overland towards either Qaz-Nuzan or Dostrien must first pass by Dragon's Maw. Drahgi's royal family resides in Melibes.
